Port Orchard Rotary Foundation

The Port Orchard Rotary Community Foundation is a nonprofit public benefit corporation subject to Section 501(c)(3) of the Code.  As mandated in Foundation’s articles of incorporation, constitution and bylaws,  the purposes for which Foundation is organized are exclusively charitable, and more specifically shall be “to establish and maintain a perpetual trust fund to assist in the support of charitable purposes in the Port Orchard, Washington area customarily supported by the Rotary Club of Port Orchard, to encourage avenues of financial support to Rotary Club sponsored charitable projects, and to support other charitable purposes pertaining to Rotary Clubs and their affiliated activities by the distribution of its funds for such purposes …”  Donations to the Foundation are generally deductible as charitable contributions for federal and state income tax purposes.
